Composting has no longer been an unfamiliar method in many countries, especially in developing agricultural nations. This is also an effective way to use non-toxic organic waste.
Waste is composted into piles until oxygen is totally consumed and the condition change from aerobic to anaerobic.
This is a simple and easily-applied method in rural households. Composting is not only environmentally friendly and helps prevent organic waste, but also provides fertilizers for agriculture, bringing various economic benefits.
However, the method also shows no less difficulty. It requires human resources, large working areas and a long period of time (3-6 months). Additionally, diseases and smells can be easily spread without unsanitary way.
